Our Success Stories
Here at Lucky Dog Rescue Bali we are busy every day rescuing and feeding dogs and it is quite often heart-breaking work. However, we have so many happy stories to share and here are some of them. For more success stories please follow our Facebook and Instagram pages.
Meet Pedro
2 year old Pedro was found living miserably in a small cage, but now he is so happy to feel the grass and sand under his paws...this gentle giant loves the beach!
Meet Bull and Cookie
Bull and his mama Cookie were found on Valentine’s Day, suffering from malnutrition, skin problems and were very neglected. With our love and care this sweet pair have recovered beautifully and are totally different dogs now! They wait patiently for Claudia every morning and evening on the street for their meals.
Meet Sasa and Piko
Sasa and Piko were breeding dogs found in terrible conditions and chained up by their owners. They both had bad skin conditions, were covered in ticks and had blood parasites. Sasa also had several tumours and was paralysed when Claudia discovered them. Sasa can now happily walk again and is a very smiley little dog. Piko is younger and loves lots of attention, his skin is getting better every day.
Meet Leo
Leo was found in a terrible condition in Sanur beach and spent 3 months being treated at our clinic. Leo now lives with Claudia and needs special care, food and daily vitamins to keep his immune system strong. Huskies are a high maintenance choice of breed in Bali, due to the high temperatures they need owners who understand their special needs.
Meet Sissy
Sissy was found in a rice field while Claudia was feeding some other dogs and was happy to accept some nice food and a trip to our clinic. She is a lovely dog and lives with Claudia.
Meet Skye
Skye, another Husky like Leo, was rescued from a filthy cage with no food or water available. She also spent 3 months in our clinic and needs ongoing special care due to her breed.
